About GFC

GFC Sustainable Fuels Book-and-Claim System

The GFC system is the first platform in China to apply the "book and claim" mechanism to sustainable fuels. Through the GFC platform, the "environmental attributes" of sustainable fuels can be converted into electronic certificates, enabling their separation from physical fuels and separate trading. By purchasing electronic certificates representing environmental attributes, enterprises can achieve emission reductions in the transportation sector and make credible environmental claims. The GFC system caters to various types of sustainable fuels—including SAF for aircraft, as well as other fuels for different purposes such as green hydrogen, green ammonia, and green methanol.
